Biatain Ag foam dressings are soft, highly absorbent and can be used in combination with compression therapy. Biatain Ag is effective against aerobic, anaerobic and resistant bacteria commonly found in wounds, including MRSA & VRE. The silver is homogenously spread in the foam dressing. Biatain Ag dressings release silver on contact with exudate; up to seven days. Biatain Ag adhesive is particulary for exuding wounds, which peri-ulcer skin is intact.
