The standard luer connection lets you use the Contact infusion set with almost any insulin pump. Not for use with the MiniMed Paradigm® proprietary connector.

contact™ is a classic on the infusion set market. It is designed to give you a feeling of freedom, secured via the following five main features.
The needle:
The contact™'s stainless steel needle is refined to be as comfortable and unnoticeable as possible. It is easy both to insert and wear due to the design and combination of the point, length, and gauge.
The needle can be left in place for up to 48-72 hours.
Insertion angle:
The needle will always be placed correctly under your skin. This is due to its flat 90° degree insertion, and the choice of a 6,8 or 10 mm needle.
Disconnect option:
contact™ is disconnected and connected by a simple push/pull mechanism - the most natural way to put things together and to take them apart. You get both a visual and audible indication of whether your set has been correctly connected or not.
The tubing:
The inner layer of the tubing is made of insulin compatible polyethylene (PE). The protective outer layer is made of kink-free polyurethane (PUR). This combination guarantees a steady, unobstructed flow of insulin and strengthens the tubing.
The adhesive:
contact™has a built-in adhesive. This means no extra tapes are necessary.
Moreover, the adhesive is hypoallergenic, discreet and strong - ready to face the challenges of your activities, whether they be swimming, running or simply playing.
Absolutely flat and discreet design:
contact™ is, by definition, our flattest infusion set and has been designed to be as discreet as possible.
