The Medtronic Silhouette subcutaneous infusion sets use a flexible teflon cannula to achieve the ultimate in user comfort and convenience. These sets are an excellent alternative to infusion device where there may be limitations on tissue depth, or where an individual has an allergy or other usage problem.
The silhouette set is completely disconnectable from the pump at the infusion site. A unique feature of the silhouette is the ability to give manual injections through the set when the pump is disconnected.

- Soft, flexible teflon cannula for maximum comfort.
- Soft cotton adhesive fixing 'hub'.
- Low 'dead-space' volume to minimise drug wastage.(Less than 0.2ml)

The Silhouette infusion set offers the convenience of self-adhesive (no overtaping) and the option to choose your insertion depth.
With a variable-angle (35°) cannula, the Silhouette infusion set is generally good for extra lean adults or even some children who have less depth to their body fat in which to place the cannula.
Paradigm Infusion Sets are only compatible with the Paradigm Pump.
